brad1431
I dont have a fire cape because I dont want to spend 2 hours in fight caves without a guarantee of getting the fire cape. I have tried 3-4 times and always die at jad. Mostly because the few things I hate most in RS are prayer switching, luring, and brews and it seems like every guide these are main themes. That being said, I paid the 2K slayer points for ice strykworms and their drops seem really good. Do I need to wait for a task to kill them, or can I do so off task? At my level is there anything else I can do to almost guarantee getting a fire cape in one shot, without luring, prayer switch and brews? Thanks
Nifflin
I have the same problems with the fire cape, it really sucks. As for the Strykworms, you need to be on task to kill them. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying. Wkw
Do fight caves normal When jad spawns, veng up, use ovl, and brew up Melee jad with like a chaotic or something until he is slightly above half health. Then, hide. Cast veng, wait 30 sec, then do claw specials and kill him before healers arrive. Its not hard. Not hard at all. brad1431
not hard? ok, but I have no idea what veng is, I dont have a chaotic or claws, so half of your strategy doesnt apply to me. How often do you get assigned this task? I am using kuradel of course
JPMC Mate
You are overlooking Jad as an opponent. If pures can do it, you can too. Borrow Claws for Jad. Vengeance is a spell that deals 75% dmg to foe after you get hit. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous. Troll Bomber
I paid 2k slayer points as well and maxed at about 750 with fire surge and wolpertinger. Then I decided I wanted to hit higher more often and went for jad next time I got him as a task. I just used deflects to kill him 100%. I wore prossy armor the whole way through with no ring or shield and snake boots, fury, and FSH. Ghetto I know. Used maybe 6 super rests and 3 sara brews the whole time. It was easy. It's more prayer switching to do it my way but his attacks are very easy to watch. You have to be on a task just like the other two wyrms in order to fight them. You can't "camp" them unless you spend slayer points to skip tasks only to do those (which I did for a while, but used lots of pts)

ThanksI used to have massive amounts of trouble with jad after the jad update/tzhaar graphical update you can more clearly tell what attack style he will use try watching a few youtube videos also tds are great practice. Also for jad dont try meleeing it your first time but bring claws for a spec wep and range him until hes under half lure the healers onto you and when hes relatively low hp double claw spec
