Well I bought about 9.1k gold ores to smelt for 57-70 smithing, assuming it would be quite costly and I would just simply resell the bars to make some money back. It actually ended up being quite cheap, only around 2m. I need to get from 60-75 crafting, so I'm wondering if there are any good methods of training crafting with these gold bars? If not I guess I'll just sell them and buy another method for 75 crafting.

More efficient to resell them and craft using another method. I would say Green D'Hide bodies but Grimy's crafting sheet isn't back up yet so I'm not 100% on that (thanks again TIF Mods).

 

What would you say your maximum income per hour is? I can give you the most efficient methods for crafting and smithing.

I would suggest that you sell those gold bars and instead make battlestaffs.

 

It does take a fair bit of start up cash since they are around 8k each then the orb is around 1k but the completed staffs sell for around 9k. So the overall loss is actually very small.

 

As well, crafting those gold bars into amulets with and w/o gems is more costly and is a lot slower exp.

Not quite sure about my income/h because I've never actually set out to "make money". All the money I make is from farming runs/MTK/casual slayer. So I'd be willing to settle for mediocre exp for smaller costs. I guess I will sell the bars back, TY for the help

how long do u think it took u to smelt those?

It takes about 65 seconds to smelt 28 gold bars.

 

This time includes going to the bank, filling invent, going to smelter, running back to bank, depositing, and then refilling inventory. *Using the Edgeville smelter.

 

So it takes around 6 6 and a haf hours to smelt 9k ores.

You can, it's referred to as supersmelting or something like that. I'm not too into it.

 

And I'm going through these bars pretty quick, if 70 is your goal I'd recommend smithing gold.

You can also craft them into gold bracelets and sell those on the ge for 221+/rogue for 220, or gold amulets and String Amulet them for magic exp.

Yah smelting them into amulets then stringing them is pretty decent AFK value, in case you need to do homework or just want to watch some movies :thumbup:
