I don't understand why because the frieken site IS NOT under maintenance.. Im getting really mad now because i havent played runescape in about 3-4 weeks.... Ok. It's a problem with your DNS, no idea why. I'll get working on a batch file to fix it.

February 4, 200620 yr A batch file is a file that contains a list of commands that, when the batch file is run, are performed as if typed in the command window. I'm assuming MasterOfThePuppets is planning on using this method to update the hosts file with all the different RuneScape server addresses. Since you are apparantly unable to change your DNS server manually, try typing this command in Start -> Run: netsh int ip set dns local static 199.166.29.3 none Type it exactly as it appears (infact, copy and paste it). If websites stop working then type this command to put your settings back: netsh int ip set dns local dhcp Again, copy and paste it into Start -> Run. If the RuneScape site still doesn't work then try this command: cmd /C echo 65.39.250.68 www.runescape.com >> C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts And again, copy and paste it EXACTLY as it appears.

February 14, 200620 yr I've got a sneaking suspision that's it's the browser that's causeing this. Go on a friends' computer and download the runescape client. Then burn on to a cd or dump it in a memory stick/flash drive to transfer to your computer. If that doen't work, try IE or some other browser. DO NOT use a thrid party runescape client as these can steal your password!

You will have to turn off javascript first or you will be redirected to the runescape main page.
