Are Torstols the most profitable herbs to grow?

Featured Replies

Regarding a similar topic, I read that someone stated that Snapdragons are more profitable than Torstols which I wasn't really aware of which led me to question. I have access to all 5 herb patches, obtained Scroll of life and use Juju farming potions; so which herbs are currently the most profitable to grow? I assumed Torstols were despite the seeds have a high cost but so do the herbs themselves.

Thanks in advance,

Leoo

I think with all that, Torstols are more profitable.

I'm not sure how juju potions and scoll of life affect herb yield, but it would appear that torstols are actually not great at all for farming - you need to grow 9 to even break even with a ~26k profit. So long as you get 9 more more, you'll break even. Getting seeds back is a massive bonus

No, Snaps are more profit per run.

Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.

Right now Snaps are marginally more profitable per run than Torstol, and Snaps are going up in price whereas Torstol are actually going down. So for the time being you're better farming Snaps for money. There's also less risk in Snap farming too.

After doing some calculations of some examples of the number of herbs I could get harvesting all 5 patches, Snapdragons do profit more (for the time being) which I feel stupid for not really testing with other seeds.

Not as profitable as snaps atm but much greater farm xp gain.

Did you figure in that you can also make those snaps into unfin potions in a few seconds to boost their profit even more? Something to think about, since Torstol doesn't have this advantage; it's useless in an unfin potion state.

^ Currently unf snaps are cheaper than the herb.

That's been true for along time.

However, the scroll of cleansing offsets this price by giving you another snapdragon every 10 or so. (It feels like it's probably closer to 15% then 10%)
