Never went on vacation myself, but I can tell that you had a very good time there. :thumbup:

How do you process your photos? Some of these look like a black and white conversion, high pass filter and a layer of grey put on screen or overlay overtop! It looks good... Those photos of the simple abstract shapes really works in my opinion, the balance is just right. I'll post some criticism later.

You should create a Tumblr acc and make a photography blog PLEASE. You already have 1 follower here ;)

1. Cool colours, though a somewhat uninteresting shot. Your reflection ruins the mood, though overall nice framing.

2. Again, some lovely colours, love the crisp quality. Nothing much to the shot though, and it gives off that snapshotty kinda vibe.

3. The balance in this shot is great, between the positive and negative. It is a refreshing angle and really interests me as a viewer. Black and white works.

4. Again, a refreshing take on what could have potentially been another touristy snapshotty photo. The colours are nice, and I love the fauz-vintage look.

5. Lovely balance and its a disconcertingly fresh photo. Awesome composition.

6. Dislike this one, seems like a very forced photo. Low quality, with distracting elements all around it. The black and white don't do many favours I believe.

7. HONK. Just another photo to me.

8. Blurry, messy and lacklustre composition.

9. Again, the photo lacks quality and the boring composition makes for an uninteresting photo.

10. Lovely abstract quality to it, and really well balanced. Great moody shot.

12 ^ ^ - These ones work incredibly well as a set.

14. Again, nice abstract shot, crisp black and white works well, as does the static quality.

15. A well composed and balanced landscape shot, the portrait frame helps set this out. Saturation a little high (might be my moniter) and the horizon is off.

16. One of my favourite, the dynamic and vibrant quality works well, as does the sharp and contrasty black and white.

I did bump up the saturation a fair bit on 15. Thanks for the c&c bro.

My favorites are 3, 4, 11, 12, & 14.

Id have to say my favorites are 6,7,8,9,15, and 16 :o

3. I like it, but I think it'd be better if the composition weren't so centered

4. Not much to say, again, though I think it'd work better if there were more of the trunk

6. I really like this one, but it's a bit sharp

8. I like this most so far :) good use of rule of thirds

9. Excellent, but again a bit sharp on the eyes

10/11/12. Not much to say about these. I like 11 most.

Yeah ;p oh the irony..

I agree with many of the photos being too sharp/saturated, but looks like you had a fun time!

Always nice to awesome photos of my country... I recognized most places! :D
