dabomb350z
Im looking to train my strength through slayer tasks and I'm wondering what weapon I should be using. I can either use a dragon scimitar + dragon defender, which I don't think is effective anymore. I can buy a saradomin sword to use or I've been seeing alot of people use Korasi + dragon defender to train strength. Is that a better option than the sara sword? Which would be yielding me higher exp/hr rates? Is there something better than the 2?
GoldTatze
Yes, it is a better option that an SS and D Scim in terms of Accuracy, but is less in STR Bonus than SS. Ur call
sohkmj1
Korasis's is universally better than dragon scimitar. I'm not sure about the SS (although I used it for 99 strength), but Korasi's has better slash accuracy with a defender, iirc, and it's not too far behind in strength the SS when used with a dragon defender. The best option would be the chaotic rapier, which beats it out in everything else.
JacTise69
The best strength experience weapons are Chaotic Rapier+ddef>Saradomin Sword>Korasi's+ddef>D Scim+ddef If virtually nothing that you will get as a slayer task has high enough defense to warrant the higher attack bonus of korasi+ddef at the loss of the str bonus of the saradomin sword. The few tasks that do have high defense should either be skipped, or stabbed (metal drags for example). The reason being is that with your full slayer helm (or a the least a black mask) and piety/turmoil you are already so accurate that the additional accuracy bonus does for all intents and purposes nothing at all. Aiel
Basically that. Korasis and ss are highly compareable though. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). IIRC, Dharok's is pretty good for strength training. Want to learn to Nex? The Nex Hunters are recruiting! Click for more information!
