On the ban: If they banned you just for a little pm saying "tip.it" in it, it was a big mistake, however, I somehow find it kinda too low even for jagex standards. Anyway, glad you will recover your account :) Dont be surprised by the "lowness" of Jagex. In the rant section there is a topic about a guy who got banned cause his name was too offensive. January 12, 200620 yr I will NEVER stop telling people about Tip.it if they ask for help. Risk of ban or not, Tip.it is too useful of a site for people to now know about it. I've done maybe 5 quests EVER without using a Tip.it quest guide. 8) Oh yeah. That's right.
January 13, 200620 yr Isnt there way to ask jagax to erase black marks or something i notice that jagax are becomming more and more jackas'es no offence because i seen alot and alot of ppl getting banned and like i said 2 BLACK MARKS just for helping my noobs friends and tell them to go to tip it and the sad part is they asked for my help but inst there ANYWAY to earse them one more thing and my lv 92 goes bye bye

January 29, 200620 yr dude you are full of poop. i say tip.it to many people in game via pm and publicly i doubt theres a day i havent referred someone to tip.it.. ive never had a black mark. hell ive even told people the link to my clans forums ingame... which is a hassle typing s14.invisionfree. new message c new message om etc. maybe they were watching you because you previously promoted a site to buy items or something because what your saying would not happen. i doubt even if someone reported you for saying tip.it they would do anything unless you walked around advertising it not just stating it once to someone

January 30, 200620 yr i get perm banned for something i didnt do and this was my 2nd ban the first was a 3-day ban for something i also didnt do lol and i sent in 3 appeals and the 2nd and 3rd said it was declined and all other appeals will be ignored :S 522 to 99 slayer

February 9, 200620 yr I got my only ever black mark in 4+ years of playing (on and off) for helping a guy out. At fire giants, he kept asking us prices of dozens of items. I said, "Google "Runescapecommunity price guide" for an awesome price guide. I got a black mark for advertising. I tried to get them to remove the black mark, I said, it's just a fansite, I was helping him out, it's not a cheating site, and they said something like: (I can't say what they actually said, or I'd get in more trouble) "We don't allow advertisements of any websites, because that could lead to the person searching for macroing programs" So.. BE CAREFUL!

February 12, 200620 yr omg thats pretty low from jagex.. I started playing World of Warcraft last week, AWESOME game dude, try it and see if you like it. At least there, you can say cabbage, *, url's, and they don't block it. You have an option where you can block it or not, it's our choice.
