My main: Combat skills

Hey. My main is currently 80/99/70 with a rapier, and I have 95 prayer for it banked. I'm considering 99 Attack, so I have two questions.

1. If I get 99 Attack, keep my Defence at 70, and get the assorted high level skills (yak, overloads, turmoil), will I be able to boss hunt and would teams still accept me?

2. I know 99 Attack will raise my combat quite a few levels, so for high level main PKers out there, is it any fun?

Thanks in advance.

1: probably not, 70 defence means your going to get hit a LOT... Only possible bosses would be tormented demons or corporeal beast.

2: If you'd get 99 attack all you could do is ahng around the edge of the wilderness. If you go 10 lvls deep or more your gonna get slaughtered by maxed out players.

You have very flawless PKing stats. So I'd keep them as-is, and skip monster hunting if you want to continue doing any PKing that isn't maxed PKing. As mentioned before, there are very few bosses you can do unless you're maxed or near maxed with optimal gear.

Corping and tding are pretty ok without high defence levels. Kree'Arra probably too (melee minion hits a bit, but you pray range + use magic defence).

I imagine that if you got a team of similar chaotic/barrows pkers you could even try your hand at Nex as-is, with an all-ranged setup, but since you can't use Nex gear/elysian/divine you will not ever be a pro team with those stats. That's not so much a matter of attack but more of defence levels.

With free trade back, PVP is just as profitable, if not more, than MHING.

Your stats, with 95 prayer asumming you'll get it, would be superior to most pkers out there.

But its all down to personal preference, i cant tell you much about Mhing as i dont do it, but those extra combat levels from attack, as already stated, will put you in amongst maxed pkers with many years of experience.

I'd just stick with what you have, get 95 prayer, and pvp.

If you then decide its not for you or not working, then get 99 attack and try Mhing.
