You'd hit higher with melee, and soul split would pretty much take care of your healing needs. 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Either way, at most you will need to do 3-4 tasks of them before you move onto a higher master, taking a exp/h hit and ranging them with protect range isn't a horrible thing.
