Nifflin
If you want extreme strengths then you can boost from 87 with a greensmans (m) or boost from 84 with stews. Just sayin. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying. Oggymasta
Stews are not really reliable.. Current drops: 4 Shield Left Half, 3 Abyssal Whip, 2 Dragon Platelegs, 1 Dragon Plateskirt, 4 Dragon Medium Helmets, 1 Dragon Spear 1 Dark Bow
Andy
Stews are reliable, just it takes more effort to use them. If you're on a budget, stews are the way to go. Get the stew boost then log out to the lobby. As you're logging in, start a 1 minute timer. Make your potions before that timer hits 1 minute otherwise your stew boost will be lost. I did super energies till magic potions, then magic potions till i could do untradeables. if you're going just for the level, you should use super attacks when you are 84 or 83 (+4/5 stew boost.) If you plan to make ovls in the future, I suggest you make some more money (get to around 100m) so you can just use untradeables for every level. You can calculate the gp/exp of each potion by using grimy's spreadsheet at: http://grimy.freeforums.org/grimy-s-reference-spreadsheets-t3.html
Ant0n
Ok, i used https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AqvdzzIgv8pbdFkxdlpsbXZUbnVMVDFqZllhQjF5Ync&hl=en#gid=0 this and looked at gp/xp and prayer potions seem to be the cheapest option according to that? Avatar200
While using the spreadsheet, keep in mind that not all potions will be sold at GE price. Some sell for a LOT lower. But prayer pots were quite steady last week with ranarrs going at 2950-3050, snape at 245-255 and ppot (4) sold at 3200-3300. There was a while when price dropped below 3.2k, but I left it at 3.2k and it still sold out after a day. Last week, ppot (4) sold higher per dose than ppot (3). Might need to recheck now. With that said, do consider using a faster and more expensive alternative if the time saved can be recovered with your moneymaking potentials. This is an advice that I did not heed at the time, as I was depressed with the amount of botters at frost.
