June 6, 201115 yr So I DCed in w148, and during that DC i managed to get a picture of the game changing my username to something else. I was curious and looked up the username and saw that it was the username of another characters. I'm obviously not "double apple", as you can see that my pray is different than "Double apple". Why do I take on the username of a random person (never seen him b4) when i disconnect?

June 7, 201115 yr This used to happen to me months ago, immediately after I logged in I would have the username of a random person until I formed some action that changed my chat box (opened bank window, changed chat tabs, whatever). I'm not sure why it happens but you're not the only one.

I'm not sure why it happens but you're not the only one. Something similar happens to me, except I have no username present in that slot. Basically I'd have to type for it to appear in my chatbox normally again.
June 7, 201115 yr This has happened to me as well but I didn't catch what name I changed to, definitely wasn't mine though it had loads of numbers in it :P Currently not active on RuneScape.
June 7, 201115 yr Yeah, same thing happened to me when I was looking for people to open an effigy for me. I found it weird until I got to my bank. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.

I'm not sure why it happens but you're not the only one. Same thing has happened to me, and I've seen some odd names in place of my own.... A lot of the names I saw should never have been allowed by Jagex. :rolleyes: 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.
