Been ages since I made a thread here, but I felt that this 99 was worth it. :P

 

Seeing as Runecrafting is such a painful skill to train and I was getting quite sick of Slayer, I decided to to camp Cave Crawlers to get the last effigies to get 99 Runecrafting. I spent about a week and a half there and got my 75 Effigies, along with 12.3m Range exp, 7.4m Defence exp and 3.4m HP exp, which was a nice boost to my total exp. :)

Now I'm going to focus on Barb assault and Agility to finally 'max'. :) I killed 54,035 Crawlers, giving me 75 effigies at 720 crawlers killed per effigy. Not a bad average. :P Spent roughly 150-180m killing all those crawlers.

Nice, I'm planning to lvl up rcing this way too. 91 right now and doing my daily assists. I might quit after 95 rc, since in the long run, I will get 99 by assisting so I'd be better off putting it on agility. Good thing I haven't maxed mining/fishing/ etc either, since I feel bad you've been "wasting" so much xp.

You can't really expect an effigy every hour. :P On my first 2 days of crawlering, I hit a 6 hour drystreak. But overtime it will even out to 1 every hour, on average.

Yeah, my original plan was to get those 'slow' skills that I wasn't maxed in to 92-95 so that I could pot to open the effigies. But I simply got bored, so I decided to max them. However, I don't feel like it's a 'waste' seeing as I value ranks/overall exp highly as well as levels.

Very nice. I'm going for 99 agility right now too. About 2.6M exp away or so. I may be 1.1M exp behind you but I'll try to get there first anyways haha. (Btw, do dungeoneering tomorrow since I'm going to be too busy moving to a new house and won't be able to train much). :wink:
