solo dks

So i have overloads, and yak, BUT NO TURMOIL. I DO have soul split.

Id be looking to 100% solo, and im not terribly concerned with efficiency, looking to do dks for profit/fun, not necessarily be ideal.

Is it possible to do all 3 alone?

Is it drastically easier to get a mage for rex via a friends chat?

I've read the AOW guide on hybriding several times and watched several youtubes on the subject.

Bank bones and hides or just bones?

Thanks in advance

You should be able to do all 3 kings, a good method to avoid most damage is to get Prime very close to death then kill Rex and pray range for Supreme. This would result in 1 Prime, 1 Supreme and 2 Rex kills per rotation and minimal damage as you don't have to tank ranged hits.

A money pouch would be cool. So would a remote price checker. But honestly I'm thinking an insta-Jcoins-market. LOW ON PRAYER AND DONT LIKE XP WASTE?! BUY AN ULTRA PRAYER RESTORE POTION INSTANTLY FOR JUST 75 CENTS! STAY AT BANDOS ALL DAY/AS LONG YOU HAVE MONEY!

You can cannon tribrid without turmoil, it's just easier and faster with it. But as long as you take a reasonable set up you'll be fine.

I take bcp, tassy, vhelm/slay helm, infin boots, cr, ccbow, sw cape and diamond (e).

Setting up cannon under prime spawn and learning to time your kills comes with experience, best way to get good is to give it a shot and maybe have a friend be ready to bless who is soloing on a different world.

The same goes for inventory, I do 5 ovl trips, and take a 1-1 ratio sups-brews. But you may want more/less than this. Ultimately it's up to your feel.

The way I kill them is, I run in and mele sup at ladder praying mage (and turm). I then set up cannon and lure rex, killing him with f surge (Not firing cannon).

Running back to cannon, and firing, then killing supreme who should have spawned, or will spawn soon.

Once supreme is dead, if rex is not spawned start ranging prime if cannon has not killed him. Then, when rex dies run south.

With this method, on a 1.2k pop world (ish) prime dies about 2/3 of the time before rex spawns. Meaning that you can ss rex most of the time you kill him.

As well as this, take an EEEE, it's fantastic for healing from your ovls, and also timing them if you don't take a stopwatch.

Hope that helped.

^Pretty much what Havoc said, I'd grind out those last 3 prayer levels (farm while you get an elite diary or whatever) then go DKS.

That said, it's possible to tribrid even without soul split/ovl/yak, just not as efficient.

I'm basically going to talk out loud here about a strategy and hopefully one of you can either prove/disprove what im trying to do.

Go down ladder, pray mage, melee supreme, lure/mage rex, range prime with mage pray on the whole time. Then supreme should spawn and i'll kill him with range prayer on, repeat?

Ive seen several vids where they kill prime as much as possible, then go to rex immediately when he spawns and kill him. i'd probably do that since it looks simple from the NE corner of the room, luring rex straight south

also, should i melee sup with balmung or whip? I don't have frem elite done, but have hard done

Here's my old setup before 95 pray.

Replacements:

Rapier with whip. Cks with dfs. Inf botos with d boots

Ice barrage runes + rune thrown axe with fire surge runes

Cstaff with sol

Chaotic crossbow with rune c'bow.

Arcane stream with a brew.

Some of the super restores could be replaced with pray pots to save a little.

Strategy: Enter with mage pray + piety, whip supreme to death. Setup cannon by prime's spawn point and fire it once, grab supreme's loot and lure and mage rex to death. Whip supreme, selecting to fire cannon again.

If rex hasn't spawned by the time supreme dies, then you can range prime for a bit. If prime dies before supreme dies you can range pray for a bit and then no pray safespotting rex.

So pretty much back and forth between supreme and rex with the cannon doing most of the work against prime.
