I've been playing RS on members since I got it, but recently when ever I get online I play for a certain amount of time then RS completley freezes! Just RS not my computer!!!My computer has a new graphics card (mainly for Doom 3 Halo and Matrix PoN because RS doesn't need it :lol: ) and a Pentium 4 Processor with 2 Gb of memory.I have a cable modem so I completely don't understand why RS completely freezes after a certain amount of playing!(Also there are no viruses and parental control is not turned on I have an up-to-date firewall and Anti-Virus)Help Please!(This doesn't happen every time I log on and the times which it freezes are random.){{Switched forum area after long wait for help}}

You dont say after how long before it freezes, but it also happens to me. IE/Firefox seem to have memory leaks, after playing for long periods of time, they lock up, and slow everything else on my machine to a crawl. A quick look and they are listed in the task manager as sucking back a tremendous amount of memory.

I usually fix the problem by quitting runescape after every hour and re-loading the browser.

i get this rarely at the end of the month when my internet is all out and it goes sloooow on world 2. it really made me mad, i lost 100k, some guy was buying a zam page for 300k, i lagged out on last screen... then when i got back he was gone tried adding but nothing. but it's just 100k, just anoys me how i lost money because of my internet conectiom, dont get me wrong i blame myself not runescape for it

Can you check the 'system' section in your windows event log for any errors around this time and post them here (administrative tools -> event log).
