Phil
Well I'm going to be getting some webspace, possibly tomorrow, and was just on the lookout for some web hosting. Just looking for some suggestions for something decent. It's not going to be a big site, would be used for uploading my own pictures, testing my web development skills etc, so probably wont need a lot of bandwidth. It should be realtively cheap and reliable but not so cheap as "too good to be true" Matt has already suggested http://www.circlehosting.co.uk/ which is ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã20/year for 300mb space and 3GB bandwidth. Would probably just go with them if nothing else catches my eye here. Cheers.

Mercifull
hmn. I could probably host you for free on the new dw server... Message me in irc sometime :D Of course we are talking about 3-4 months down the line there Skelm. The circle Hosting package is pretty good and if you pay monthly you can move over to you when he's fully set up... like i probs will lol. The package I suggested is less than ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1.70 a month, I wouldnt of thought that would burn too big a hole in Phils pockets :P Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Mercifull
Thats a free hosting site with incredibly limited features and full of adverts. Phil is talking about a real webserver. Ks_Jeppe
I used circlehosting for about 3 months until they had a HDD breakdown and lost all the files (didn't believe they didnt have any backups, but meh)... Anyways, that made me swicth to wenhostingfreaks since i'm a large fan of the webfreaks and most of their sites, phpfreaks mostly used :D webhostfreaks are the best hosting service i've ever been at, it's really increadible how cool these guys are, i can STRONGLY recommed them, have been a customer there for over a year now, and it's just been heaven... The prices are a bit higher than some other places, but the quality you recieve from that is just massively ownage... But before the HDD crash at circle that worked fine as well, no doubt about that... But they didn't keep backups like webhostfreaks, which made me close my account without thinking twice... Ohh well, I signed up with circlehosting last night (got my site up and running now). Thanks for the heads up though. I don't think I'll have anything too important hosted, but if I do I'll make sure to keep my own backups. Let's just hope I wont need to though. I'll keep webhostfreaks in mind though for the future. When was this hdd failure, out of interest?

spling
I've had good experiences with http://www.hostdime.com I am currently being hosted by http://www.pxtek.com and they are very nice, cheap, always got a rep online, and very accepting of my IRC based community even though IRC is against their AUP (I have two written permissions from them saying I can redirect to my IRC server and use IRC bots, even though their AUP says otherwise :)). Check out RuneScript and RuneTracker!
