March 26, 201214 yr bianca/cheren was a little better, the way they were integrated into the story but they still didnt feel like rivals. yeah, i really just thought silver was the ideal rival, or at least marginally beating out blue for the title.Cheren had some interesting character development, Bianca I'm not so sure about... Silver definitely got more interesting in HG/SS, Blue seems a bit one dimensional if you discount all of the fan theories (Though the fan theories add a LOT) I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr

March 26, 201214 yr Author the originals, Red Blue and Yellow, followed by Gen II, Gold Silver Crystal, are in the same storyline, so GSC is in fact the sequel to RBY. the same goes for their remakes. HG/SS is a sequel to FR/LG. but other than the unreleased BW2 which follows BW, there are no storyline continuations. although its usually worth it to always get the third game in the generation (yellow, crystal, emerald, platnium) if you are only getting one. note gen 5 has no third game. ~It's Super Effective!
