December 12, 201213 yr 4. Lack of morphine receptors. I found this out while in the hospital for the diverticulitis. They gave me a bunch of morphine and something else that was supposedly twice as strong as morphine, and none of it affected me :( So I just got to enjoy the pain of the diverticulitis. does this mean you cant get addicted to heroin
