Hi guys! So I log in today to my account and i have this terrible lag. I could call it slow motion, becouse my character does not lag, he runs fluently, but just very very slowly, attacks monsters mega slowly and does everything else very slow. When i rotate the camera with arrow keys on my keyboard it also rotates very slowly. What could be the problem? I've never had this problem before. Thanks!

I'll move this to Tech and Computers as it is more about your computer than it is for your RuneScape character.

Do damage splats stack up on monsters when you're using a wepon that it wouldn't normally happen with?

 

If so, I've had this exact same problem multiple times before. I never did anything to fix it because no one could give me an answer either. I just didn't play for a few hours and the next time I got back on everything was running fine again.

Sounds like graphical lag opposed to actual lag; meaning settings are too high for your gpu or your gpu is overloaded/overheating to cause it to render so slowly.

I've had the exact same problem, really fun in my opinion. But fun aside, try to swap graphics mode from whatever you have to the other one. DirectX-> OpenGL / OpenGL-> DirectX
