Why change it? Shouldn't Jagex be more focused on the hoards of bots everywhere rather than making things look "better"?

It lags and you can't even see the ground, it is a useless update in my opinion. Almost as useful as a Clan Citadel. But I can stand those.

The RS development team have their fingers in many pixelated pies. If Jagex stopped updating the game and did nothing but fight bots all day (which they'd have to in order to keep up with all the throwaway farming accounts made every other second) then people would quit because nothing new would ever be added.

THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P.

So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...

I don't care about the update. The only benefit is decanting is a little faster.

Looks nice imo. And I think bots get owned by updates like this. I saw a L134 running in circles for 2hrs while I was making cballs. Dumb kid obviously didn't notice the furnace changed and got reported alot :)

Offtopic:

If it lags so badly you might consider getting a new internet provider or buying a more up-to-date pc, or playing on a server less distant from your home. I never suffer lag, except for the first 5 seconds when I login to W2 ge.

The rest runs flawless here.

There isn't a single employee working at Jagex, you know :P They do have multiple projects running simultaneously, and whose to say that they might not be working on stopping bots as we speak?

....

Yeah, okay, they probably aren't. But let me dream.

Or they could stop being greedy and hire some additional staff dedicated to stopping bots with the millions of profit they make. But oh wait, bots pay for membership and thus are a large part of the profit in the first place, so that wouldn't be the best move as an organization. Never mind jagex, just keep milking the money, we'll cope with the bots like we always have and always will.

It would be a dumb play on their part to stop all the bots.
