Wisky_is_Goo
Stats in sig. Planning to eventually max all combat stats, i mainly do slayer and bosshunt. Worth it for me to get void? Uses other than td's/chinning? How long using veteran boat? Not really interested in doing the other way, I also have the one piece given by void stares back already. Should i get range/melee both? Deflector? The pieces are Top, Bottom, gloves, and the helm changes based on melee/range correct?
SacredFlam3s
Void is definitely worth it. Get it no matter what you're doing. Veterean boat depends on team/world. If you're in a 120/130+ world im guessing 5-8 hours. Get deflector. It truly is awesome for ranging. Great in arma duo/trio+ Yes, the helment changes. You can also swap out one piece (excluding helmet) for the deflector. DK's Drops: 7 Berserker Rings, 2 Warrior Ring, 1 Archers Ring, 7 Dragon Hatchet, 1 Seercull, 3 Elite Clue - All SoloGWD Drops (CS): 1 Bandos Chestplate, 2 Armadyl Hilt, 1 Armadyl ChestplateSlayer:1 D skirt, 2 Whip, 12 G Mauls, 2 Dragon Boots

You can also do Conquest, which goes by reasonably quick if you know what you're doing. ;) Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Quyneax
Void is great starting right at the level you can use it at up to high regions of bosshunting, mainly tds, corp, and Nex, but also any large GWD team you go in (clan event or w/e). It's also great for camping miths, black drags etc. off-task. Your ranking is based on your opponents, but after 1250 rank is meaningless. Void is very useful for a number of things. For instance it is definatley worth wearing melee void at waterfiends as your chaotic maul really makes the best out of 10% extra strength and attack, more than any other strength boosting equipment would, and it also gives you an excellent magic defense while you can simply pray against or outheal the range damage (If you complete a void dance you get elite void, which gives +4 prayer each for the body and legs compared to regular void). I notice you're already 96 summoning so you probably don't care too much for this, but it's still one of the best cheap charm farming places in runescape. That's it really, use melee void when you need magic defense and are using a powerful weapon. Range void should be used for practically anything besides slayer tasks, it works out as less accurate than armydal or even black dhide, but it makes up for it in damage. It is especiially useful if you have things such as ranger boots, archers ring (i), chaotic crossbow... As these all boost your accuracy higher making the accuracy difference more negligible. Mage void is pretty useless. Maybe if you don't have an arcane you could swap the shield for a deflector and use ahrims body, i'm not sure how that would actually relate to full ahrims for accuracy, but the key point is MAGE VOID DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR DAMAGE. I'm pretty sure people only get it so they can do 1 item switch hybridding.

Cheefoo
You shouldn't worry much about potions and food. Unless your team starts losing, don't waste your money on extremes or overloads. You might as well go ahead and bring a combat familiar. Powerfrog
All of this being said, when doing the vet boat should i overload? pray turm? use extremes? bring food/familar?Games usually last about 3 minutes and your stats and prayer get reset each game, so in your regular strength/prayer oriented gear you should be able to constantly use turmoil and flick soulsplit for the full game, not that you'll need to heal anyway. Overloads are really unnessesary, many players don't even use potions at all. The game most likely won't be won or lost just by you, so any extra effort is nice but rather pointless, and you only need 500 damage to be guaranteed points for winning the game (You should expect to do 4000-6000 a game if only focusing on portals and activley running to the next portal, so this really isn't an issue) I don't think i've ever saw a familiar in there so i'm assuming you're not allowed to bring them, or i'm just absent minded and never paid attention. As said though, really not needed at all.
Quyneax
Potion-wise, just bring whatever you'd bring when training on monsters that provide half xp and portals that basically die instantly. For me that's combat potions :D.
