The Ring of Life is sadly a necessity because this laptop tends to overheat easily, which locks up runescape. And even though I do have access to the 12min grave, I'm paranoid. Plus it's been a while since I solo maged rex, so I'm a mite insecure. I don't have access to Fremmy 4 boots or yak, so I know already I'm at a significant disadvantage. I don't have Soul Split, either. (It just gets worse and worse, I know...) The excalibur is the e3 one, so there's that, I guess. I'm half doing this out of boredom and half for the money, since I seem to get lucky every now and then with zerker drops. If you guys have any other suggestions for half-boredom/half-money things to do, I'd love to hear 'em too I suppose. Thanks in advance. EDIT: Just realized in my picture I have the Guthix Mace equipped. No idea why I did that. I have a Staff of Light, and I'd take that instead. Saradomin_Mage Posted August 24, 2011 Share Posted August 24, 2011 Actually, if you're just soloing and only killing Rex, there isn't really an issue of negative attack bonuses, is there? You don't need to range Prime, and Rex has such terrible magic defense that your penalty wouldn't be a problem. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
