Just 2 shots taken from around my neighborhood. Was realy cold outside.

Curves + contrast/brightness added. :) Color ballance too.

First photo you overexposed the sky a little and underexposed the foreground, apart from that its nice.

Second photo is really great, nice colours and composition, i like. 8)

The second one is a nice idea, but there's far too much contrast. Try playing with the levels to reveal a bit more of the blackness.

Dreaming of that face again

It's bright, and blue, and shimmering

Grinning wide

And comforting me with it's three warm and wild eyes

I luv the sky!

Alright. I wasn't sure, always seem to have something too contrasted or too little. I'll play with it.

The first one I see what you mean john. The sun was shinning from that way so it realy expossed it.

:)

I like the second one a lot, first is clearly well taken as well, but the sandbox thingy doesn't help

I have some serious problems dealing with aperture, so can't really give you any criticism...But can you tell me how was the luminosity when you took the photos and how you selected the proper aperture?

Thanks :)

The first one was down where they are building new houses, hence the "sandbox" thing.

I realy can't tell you much about apature.

Technically, they're very nice, like all your work, but, again, like all your work, it seems compositionally boring, and all-around drab. Sorry.

Right now i'm trying to wait for it to warm up a bit Wyrm. I realy could only get a little bit around my neighborhood, and even then I was freezing my hands off.

Going to wait untill I can get to some interesting spots. I've had some realy good ideas for photos in my mind, just need to be there.

:)

Apin, monkeys my little brother. lol.

Going to try out some different stuff comositionaly too Wyrm. I was just trying to get a basic ballanced picture, haven't thought too much on the other stuff. Maybe tomorrow if it warms up.

So, did you intentionally make the first one that dull? Is that what you mean by curves?

I kid, I kid.

As for the second one, it's a bit too dark, but some parts are overexposed. I'd say it's a contrast problem but not something you can easily fix without ruining the integrity of the picture...

Overall boring shots, photography is a skill not a P&S then edit it in photoshop technique.

Apin, monkeys my little brother. lol.

I am aware of that

I was asking the aperture thing because the camera I'm using is analogical (a vivitar 2000), then I can't experiment as much with it.
