Shade burning (for exp, not profit)

Featured Replies

I am currently 96 prayer and 73 firmaking, both of which I wish to level, but in all honesty, I don't find burning long lines of logs to be interesting.

My question is this:

How effective would it be to power burn shades for exp?

I have the funds to buy more than enough remains (and I don't care how long they take to buy)

Secondly, what would be the most efficient method to do so?

I have very few quests done (for my level) and have access to a yak

I am willing to quest for a closer teleport than canfis

Thanks in advance for the help

efficiency wise - you'd be burning magic logs + a pyrefiend

and probably frost dragon bones at an altar

Burn Vyres instead if you want a break from lines of logs.

How are vyres? (exp per hour)

No idea but it's a comp cape requirement so you'll have to do it anyway eventually.

If you would do it for the comp cape req you should just do temple trekking first and bank the vyres you get there. Saves you about 150 vyrewatches.
