fakeitormakeit2
Does anyone have any advice for me? I've been unsuccessful in all my attempts so far to kill the Pest Queen and Vanstrom. Thanks. He who wears his morality but as his best garment were better naked... Your daily life is your temple and your religion
Quyneax
For the pest queen, wear heavy defensive gear and pray protect from magic. Because the knights and archers deal so much damage your own damage output isn't too relevant, the key is survival. Make sure you use KS specials at the right time and don't waste specs. A combat familiar may help as well. Pray piety or turmoil. For Vanstrom, I used blood barrage in Ahrim's, blisterwood staff, arcane stream necklace and such gear with a unicorn. Blits would work as well. It heals a lot and acts as a ranged attack for when he's flying. You can also use void range deflector with an Armadyl chestplate and a few stakes (alerter works as normal). When he's on the ground you can use a polearm but I'm not sure it's even worth the additional space + the lost healing. Vezon Dash
Remember to kill the defilers during the pest queen. Those will ruin your day. If you don't kill them, there is a 0% chance of beating the queen.

First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. Bruhx
The pest queen is fairly easy if you know what you're doing. I killed it my first time, and I made a ton of mistakes. First off, you should definitely killed the defilers as soon as you see them. I used rocktails too. Bring a war tortoise full of supplies, when that runs out, summon a kyatt and bring about 100 ambush scrolls. Make your left click option use ambush and just spam that when you're attacking the queen. It really helps. I got 70 attacks out of the kyatt, and it saved me. Be sure you pray mage when you attack the defilers, pray melee when you attack the queen, use the korasi spec whenever the queen stands up. Also if you can bring a recovery spec (I didn't), that will be helpful about once or twice. I haven't fought that other boss yet.

Just take a bob and summon a Titan or something. If you have spec restores, bring them. Once you get a good number of rangers on the healers/queen, it will fall within a few minutes. I did it on my first try as well, and I spent about 10 minutes tanking before I realized that I needed to kill defilers.
Powerfrog
Pest queen was very easy. First of all, do not worry about dieing. She deals very little damage and you will easily survive even at low levels. The only issue is surviving LONG ENOUGH for her healers to be a none issue and for your dps to be greater than her healing significantly so that she will die. Aggro the things that kill your guys, do not kill them. Bring your best BoB full of food. I remember doing it with sharks, but obviously rocktails or even brew/restores would be better, if unnessecary. If you're really low level and having a hard time surviving to a point where you can outdamage her healers, a spirit kyatt will help IMMESNLEY with that. Simply keep a pouch and 100 ambush scrolls in your inventory, fight until you've ate 12-18 food depending on your bob, dismiss it, summon the kyatt and spam it's special move, each attack doing upto 300 damage. Obviously keep an eye on her special attack and use yours to nullify it, but it's also a good tactic to keep your special as high as possible (even to the point of letting her special hit you to conserve your own) so when she is getting towards being weak and you outdamage her healers a bit, you can spam 6-7 specials at her at once to deal tremendous amounts of damage, making the difference between life and death for her. But really, she's easy, even without these advanced methods you should easily kill her by simply standing still, eating, and speccing when she does hers on anything above 90 combat.
