Fastest tree route

Ok so I know those of us doing farming for bxpw want to know the fastest route to checking our trees health.

 

Assuming I have access to every type of teleport option what's the best way to check the health of these trees:

 

Lumbridge tree plot

Falador tree plot

Varrock tree plot

Gnome stronghold tree plot

Taverly tree plot

 

Lettya fruit tree plot

Catherby fruit tree plot

Gnome stronghold fruit tree plot

Gnome village fruit tree plot

Herblore habitat fruit tree plot

Brimhaven fruit tree plot

 

Brimhaven spirit tree plot

Etceteria spirit tree plot

 

Calquat tree plot

I think i'm gonna do it like this: (i'm not sure if this is the ultimate run)

 

 

Be on lunar spellbook (best tele spot to catherby?)

 

1. before the start go to etceteria spirit tree (because i think the tele spot to etc is the furthest)

2. use your new spirit tree to tele to gnome stronghold and check fruit tree + mage tree

then u can choose in which order u do the trees i think: just tele and check health, so i'll just write, what i think are, the closest tele spots:

3. lumby tab for lumby tree

4. fala tab for fala park tree

5. tavy tab (modified house tab after love story) for the tree there

6. varrock tab (best is if u put your tele spot at centre varrock and not ge) for varr tree

7. elf crystal for lletya tree

8. lunar spellbook tele to catherby for tree

9. witchdocter mask for tele to HH tree

10. brimhaven tab (again modified if ur house isnt there) to fruit tree at brimhaven

11. i think this is also the best option for the spirit tree (altho i got mine planted at port sarim for cabbage port)

12. for gnome village i'm not sure, but i think using duel ring to al kharid and run to gnome glider is faster than the tele to etceteria (if this is not the case u should do this one first)

13. calquat use tai bwo wannai teleport

 

 

ones again, i'm not sure if this is the fastest, but i know people will correct me if i'm wrong

A lot of the root can be re-ordered as you wish, I marked 2 sets as they work fastest in that block. This assumes you did the latest gnome quest and thus have gnome village glider

 

Lumbridge tree plot - Lumby tele tab

Falador tree plot - Fally tab

Varrock tree plot - Varrock tab

Taverly tree plot - Hot air balloon (via cwars) or taverly chipped tab

Lettya fruit tree plot - Elf crystal tele

 

Set:

Catherby fruit tree plot - Cathurby tele on lunar or cammy tab

Gnome village fruit tree plot - Run up to glider then go str8 to village

Gnome stronghold fruit tree plot - glider bk n climb down

Gnome stronghold tree plot - run too

 

Herblore habitat fruit tree plot - Witchdoctor mask or juju bag

 

Set:

Brimhaven fruit tree plot - chipped brim tab

Brimhaven spirit tree plot - while at fruit

Calquat tree plot - Run south or buy tai bwo wanni scrolls

 

Etceteria spirit tree plot - ROW tele I'd say

 

For future reference if doing full tree farm runs Sarim > Etceria as etceria is miles from tele points, sarim is right near cabbage-port

So this is what seems best:

 

Inventory: lumbridge teleport tab, falador teleport tab, taverly teleport tab, varrock teleport tab, elf crystal, Camelot teleport (5 air, 1 law), witchdoctor mask, brimhaven teleport tab, tai beo wannai teleport scroll.

 

1. Start at etceteria spirit tree and check health.

2. Teleport to gnome stronghold with spirit tree and check fruit tree.

3. Run southwest and check tree health.

4. Run northeast and use spirit tree teleport to gnome village, use quick exit and check fruit tree health.

5. Lumbridge teleport tab to lumbridge tree.

6. Falador teleport tab to falador tree.

7. Taverly teleport tab to the taverly tree.

8. Varrock teleport tab for the varrock tree.

9. Elf crystal teleport for the lletya fruit tree.

10. Camelot teleport and run southeast to catherby for fruit tree.

11. Witchdocter mask teleport to herblore habitat fruit tree.

12. Brimhaven teleport tab to fruit tree.

13. Run east and check spirit tree health.

14. Tai bwo wannai teleport scroll to calquat tree.

some remarks on that:

 

1. at gnome stronghold, after you checked the fruit tree, don't run to the spirit tree.

It is better to wait untill you check your second spirit tree at brimhaven and use that one to tele to gnome village.

 

2. cammy tele, i'm sure lunar catherby is shorter, but cammy tele is best if u dont use lunars

 

3. extra tip, go to ooglog spa before your farming trip for unlimited run energy or don't forget energy pots/terrorbird

I don't think going to gnome village (for tree): better ma..

 

How I go, consider I can't do catherby teleport yet:

 

varrock (banking/start)

lumby tele

falador tele

chipped tele tab to catherby

tai bwo wannai for calquat

MA tele (possible to bank now)

spirit tree to gnome stronghold, do both trees

chipped tele tab to brimhaven -> both trees there

duel ring to duel arena, run to glider.

glide to gnome village

take glider again to white wolf mountain -> run to catherby

teleport crystal to lletya (ending near a bank).

 

 

Boils for me down to:

first do 4 normal trees + calquat. Then rebank and do rest (with the combos of 2 trees at gnome stronghold, brimhaven & gnome village / catherby)

If it's bxp and you're going to be doing skillables asap - you probably just want to check health and move on.

 

Not much sense in banking, and waste your time cutting/replanting trees/etc

you're never cutting the normal trees... And the rest is so fast you'll still be in 2.7 modifier when it ends for sure. And you can do a 2nd tree run the weekend then.
