D. V. Devnull
Hello, everyone... :) Regarding Dungeoneering, I was wondering... When someone hits 200m xp in the skill and therefore can't gain any more xp, can they still gain tokens from completing Daemonheim's dungeons? I would like to think that token gain is unlimited, but seeing as RS does have some limits, I figured that I should ask. Who wouldn't really hate to hit a lifetime token limit without any warning that it would happen, eh? ~D. V. "I'm probably asking about this long before I should..." Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.) Gilformen
pretty sure people who hit the xp limit can still accumulate tokens. 32,606th to 99 magic || 15,388th to 99 dungeoneering || 12,647th to 99 farming14,792nd to 99 range || 24,954th to 99 herblore
Sy_Accursed
AFAIK While the xp count doesn't go beyond 200m it doesn't stop you 'gaining' xp.Eg if you have 200m fish xp and catch a fish the xp counter near map will still register an xp gain and everything else it counts towards like random event trigger etc, just the 200m xp won't change to anything higher. Obtaurian
Yes, you still gain tokens. That's how some maxed-out dungeoneers keep track of their virtual dungeoneering experience. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
Powerfrog
As a sidenote to the original question, is there a limit to the amount of tokens you can have? Does anyone have over 10m tokens? How about 100m?
Bruhx
I'm sure the limit is the same limit as max cash, I really have no idea, that's just a guess. And do people seriously dung after 200mil? What is the point in that?
homer205
Enjoyment, being paid for leech floors. I would assume tokens have the same limit as max items (I forget what the proper calculation is, but just over 2.1b), though I have no proof and am merely speculating. Agen
The calculation is 2^32-1 which is 2,147,483,647. The game can't handle any number larger than that because it runs on a 32 bit Java system where that is the maximum integer. It would just crash and kick everyone off. This is also the reason that skills stop at 200m. The invisible decimal point in xp totals would make it so the max xp in a skill before the game crashes 214.7m and 200m is a nice roundoff point. People's total xp can be higher than this because it's only displayed (and calculated) on the website. Goals for 2012:Quest CapeMAX
