AznPrincess
I've never really done Stealing Creation, but I'm getting to the point where I want high Construction/Smithing/Crafting/Fletching, yet I'm just curious whether or not it's worth getting SC items for each of these skills? I'm fairly sure it's worth it for Construction and Smithing, but I'm curious about Crafting and Fletching. Thanks!
LitterBug
I'm pretty sure it's worth it never (having posted the same question ages ago) The consensus seemed to be that it was good if you enjoyed stealing creation a lotBut from a pure effiency standpoint - it's not worth it. AznPrincess
In terms of money saved, it's not worth it either? :(
Sona
The question you should ask yourself is: Can I recoup my costs (20+ minutes for 70k-90k EXP worth of materials) if I didn't play Stealing Creation?
HexiledRazz
Fast SC games last about 12 minutes and you get an average of 20 points a game(Most of the time more, enough for a bonus tool every ~7 games). It's up to you to decide if it's worth it after that. Hexiled Razz. Player since March 8th, 2005.
Avid43
I don't really care for being too efficient. I got 99 crafting from level 70 using needles. I played with a non-cmb group called "Clay Gods" and got to know quite a few people there. It was a lot of fun and broke up the time spent at the bank chest nicely. :) I would only really use the tools for crafting and smithing.
Quyneax
You can get ~5 tools per hour pretty well (but you probably need 70+ if not 80+ in all gathering stats + a processing stat for that). 5 tools are about an hour of smithing as well, so that'd be just about worth it. For construction it's worth it if you do oak probably, mahogany is only worth it at high incomes anyway. Crafting-wise you're forced to do dragonhide over battlestaves if you insist on SC which makes it not worth it imo. For woodcutting and mining, it depends on whether you have dragon tools or rune. If you have rune, then it may be worth using sc tools.
