Quyneax
If you are:Using a granite lobster, andUsing decorated fishing urns, andDropping/alching each fish after you catch it, andNever misclicking the fishing spot, andAlways moving to the closest fishing spot after your current one dies, then I don't know what else you can improve, other than eating purple sweets whenever you don't catch a fish (really not worth it). JeRambo
Purple sweets? Fishing pots!? I just bring 10 urns, start fishing, do some stuff, come back, drop the fish and repeat. :P "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come." "An imperfect man can do great deeds, and a great man imperfect ones.

Powerfrog
If you're going to put so much effort into fishing, why not just do dungeoneering C2 floors? I hear it's better fishing experience overall and would take less effort than the above. What's this about purple sweets? I love me an impractical yet best method :D
Quyneax
When you first start fishing, you have a chance of catching a fish after 3 ticks, then every 5 ticks after that. Interrupting this cycle is important to get 3-tick fish constantly. When you do cut/eat fishing you use a knife on the fish you catch, eat the resulting roe/caviar and re-click the fishing spot. This provides fish offcuts which serve as bait, so it's entirely free. Sometimes you don't get a fish, or sometimes a fish doesn't give you caviar, so you eat a purple sweet to reset the cycle instead. Given the cost of sweets and minimal cost savings this requires an income of around 30m/hr to be the best method last time I heard.
