wordsofthelord
I can't seem to find the herblore spread sheet that someone made here. What would be the best pot to make at 85 herb. I have over 50 milliongp to spend on this. I would prefer to not make any untradable pots until I can make extremes. Also please don't suggest using stews. Singh
Well about you not wanting to make un-tradeable potions; even with selling sara brews, it costs more that un-tradeable pots. I recommend (from expereince) is just make the best potion you can for the time being; I personally made over 5k recovery specs (4) Here is a quick and easy herblore guide I made back when I was getting 99 herblore; hope it can help you: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AoG-3mjJ0IhrdFp6clQyQU95Vk51MzV3X1V2NVNXemc&hl=en_US#gid=
jjjon123
You could do super restores. They are only ~8gp/xp atm 1,000 F2P Total Level Reached 10/8/10 ! Powerfrog
Special restores are only about 10gp per xp, and will be handy for crashing/anticrashing or just general boss killing. Very nice to have a few in the bank. Extreme attacks are only about 8.5gp per xp, and these are vital for making overloads or just general PVM. Very nice to have a few in the bank. (Isn't this why you train herblore in the first place?) Extreme strengths are about 13gp per xp, but you'll need them for overloads/PVM eventually, so might as well start sooner rather than later. Oh. And all the above are extremely fast xp/hour (450k xp/hour). Much better than doing something slow like serum 207 if you can make a few 100k gp an hour, even if you don't want extremes for some bizzare reason. JPMC Mate
Then how do you determine what extremes are cost-effective (not that it matters, just wondering). Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.
Quyneax
Well you can assume 100% loss, minus the amount you'll actually use. The worst you can lose is 100%, the least you can use is when you use all potions up and value them equal to their super counterparts. I think it's reasonable to assume overloads are worth something like 4-5k per dose given their power, which means about 2200 xp for 39k expenses, getting you about 25k total cost for 2200 xp. Which is really very cheap. Powerfrog
For my extreme calculations i actually valued them at 0. The gp/xp is based directly on costs of supplies, and not on resell value at all. If you were to value them even at their super pot price, which they are undoubtfully more useful than, they'd be even less. But again, this the entire reason any none skiller trains herblore in the first place, if we're talking efficiency, you'd be stupid not to make extremes as soon as possible, prices be damned.
