January 17, 200620 yr i know they both suck and i myself have a whip...but if you look at the stats...hammers are better then flails...and flails cost about a mil more...even if they DO look cooler
January 17, 200620 yr You also have to look at the specials of the sets, the verac's set has a use while the torag one is as useless as an iq-test in America. (no offense :P)
January 17, 200620 yr That's because the set affect of Verac is much better than the set affect of Torags. 99 Magic, 99 Defence, 99 Strength, 99 Attack, 99 Hitpoints, 99 Fletching, 99 Woodcutting, 99 Firemaking, 99 Thieving, 99 Ranged, 99 Prayer, 99 Cooking, 99 Fishing

January 17, 200620 yr A flail is more rare than the hammers. Also, high level people buy flails for a verac set effect, where as the hammers are only usefull to mid level players. Flail is in more demand, and rarer. Need assistance in any of these skills? PM me in game, my private chat is always ON

Flail is in more demand, and rarer. Acualy the flail is much more common than hammers, and the truth is, I was owned by someoen in Torag even thogh I was useing Veracs, the set's defence blows. Anyway, Torags isn't as useless as everyone says it has a good defence and the stats on the hammers are ok, I found myself killing people fairly easy in stake dules at teh dule arena. PS: I've gotten 3 flails, and never had a hammer drop from the chest, so there's why I'm saying Hammers are rarer.
January 18, 200620 yr Flail gives +5 prayer bonus, and the hammers don't. But in my opinion, hammers hit higher more often, so I prefer the hammers.

I have only had 1 drop of hammers and no flail. But Torag is good for just its armour and atk (like normal weapon and amour) its just it has upkeep. So there are ups and down to both. So there are ups and down to both.and of the 10-20 items i got out of the chest, 2 of them were veracs, surprisingly no torag.. neways, flail is better because its faster (i believe, feel free to correct me), the verac set special is ideal for many things in rs, and just that its in more demand because of these.
