Kata_Phfract__the_slayer
A while back I stoped playing RS, at the time zombie monkeys, skeletal gorillas(what ever they are called) and armours zombies where the 3 fastest methods I knew about for gaining xp in melee. Basicly, my question is, at this day and age, what is the new fastest melee xp? (if it has changed).Or, what are some things I can help to boost my current xp rates? (chaotic and expensive stuff like nex gear is not an option). Thankyou. I'm a Brony and proud of it!
HexiledRazz
If you're just power-training without slayer... Always pray piety/turmoil, emphasis on strength bonus, and always train where you can use a salve(e). Armoreds are a popular choice. Hexiled Razz. Player since March 8th, 2005. Bxpprod
Armoured Zombies are definitely an excellent choice, especially with a nearby altar to turm/piety as mentioned above. That said, whilst not *the fastest* I'd recommend slayer on the grounds that it is still exceptionally quick, and you are of course, training multiple skills. Things to help:- - Piety/turm (turm-ss combo for longer trips)- Extremes (or atleast a supers)- Full bandos- DDef [bleep] OFF HOW ARE U SO [bleep]ING LUCKY U PIECE OF [bleep]ING SHIT [bleep] [bleep] [wagon] MUNCHER
999134
Two best methods I know of at the moment are the wyverwatch (no idea how to spell that and cba to look it up) quest items, which can reportedly get you well over 150k xp per hr And constant d claw speccing in the troll defence minigame using the table to resupply. Check it out, huge amount of effort has gone into this massive mod![hide=old sig][/hide]
JPMC Mate
Slayer is a great way to train. You get xp in Atk/Str/Def/HP/Mage/Range/Charms for Summoning/Slayer. Your stats are pretty good to train Slayer effectively. Depending on the task, you could get xp rates as high as 100k xp per hour! Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.
Sinkhan
Did they ever fix it so that you can use ext/ovls at AZs without it resetting when you went to use the altar? Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
Th e Doctor
Even without extremes vyrewatches are faster exp than AZ's by a significant amount. Armadyl Drops : 4 Hilts; 3 Chestplates; 2 Chainskirts; 1 Helmet; 1 Buckler; 2 Shard 1; 2 Shard 2; 1 Shard 3Nex : 1 Zaryte BowKalphite King : 1 Drygore Rapier ; 1 Drygore Longsword : 1 Drygore Offhand Rapier : 1 Drygore Offhand Longsword
Sinkhan
How much faster? I recall pre-chaotic/extreme rates for AZs being around 110k/hr at 99, so Vyre would sound amazing if they could top that. They also don't profit though so there's that to consider. Th e Doctor
They do profit and they max at around 150 k/hr Armadyl Drops : 4 Hilts; 3 Chestplates; 2 Chainskirts; 1 Helmet; 1 Buckler; 2 Shard 1; 2 Shard 2; 1 Shard 3Nex : 1 Zaryte BowKalphite King : 1 Drygore Rapier ; 1 Drygore Longsword : 1 Drygore Offhand Rapier : 1 Drygore Offhand Longsword
Sinkhan
How do they profit? Do they drop anything other than corpses? In my own experience of cremating those things, I barely broke even using maple pyres. Allmonkey
The ones in darkmeyer drop deaths/blood runes that usually make up the most of your profit. You'll only be hitting max xp/hr there if you have 500 vyres burned as it brings up the minimum hit.

I'll have to pay more attention the next time I fight with my b polearm. Allmonkey
It does both, works kind of like ferocious ring in Kuradal's dungeon, but instead of +40 it's +10 for every 50 vyres you burned maxing out at +100 with 500 burned.
