Swiller2 Posted November 17, 2011 Share Posted November 17, 2011 I bought Photoshop through a discount program offered at my university a few years ago. It recently just totally stopped working. I get an "Unkown Error" message every time i try to run it and it crashes. My question is if Photoshop is a one time buy and can I just use my pass key code thing to unlock the newest version? Sy_Accursed Posted November 17, 2011 Share Posted November 17, 2011 the serial code is for your program, not the new versions.However as of the latest update adobe does offer much cheaper "upgrade" pack, no sure what editions they apply to, I think only 4 > 5 is done atmThe "upgrade" packs take ur previous serial code and upgrades it.
