Sy_Accursed Posted November 28, 2011 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Yeah its hidden bonus as its a special boost for un-armed combat, which in melee's case natural boosts crush along side the str as unarmed combat is all crush based.They work well on fiends. HexiledRazz Posted November 29, 2011 Share Posted November 29, 2011 There's an invisible +82 crush strength bonus added onto the existing bonuses of the gloves(I don't believe Jagex has said this themselves, but all testing has shown that it's frequency to hit and it's max brings it to almost exactly that of a whip). As well as your unarmed speed is enhanced to 6(Whip speed). I believe it's the best weapon to use on fiends now. Hexiled Razz. Player since March 8th, 2005. Powerfrog Posted November 29, 2011 Share Posted November 29, 2011 Well i'm pretty sure the whip has a higher DPS than the chaotic maul on 1 defense.Again, whip is more powerful than ZS and SS, so it should beat those by a landslide. Sadly we do not know the exact hidden accuracy formula (Or waterfiends exact crush defense, for that matter) so it's hard to say if the gloves are accurate enough to contend with the maul.
