December 21, 201114 yr Hey, i want a good program which monitors the temperature of stuff like the cpu. I have an amd phenom cpu so it has to be compatible with that. Thanks for the help
December 21, 201114 yr http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ This is a nice, compact program to use.
December 21, 201114 yr Worth remembering the program alone means nothing, it all depends on what temperature sensors you're components has built in and how high quality they are. December 21, 201114 yr Alternatively I like to use CPUID's Hardware Monitor. It provides a bit more information than CoreTemp but isn't as compact. Pyramid Plunder Guide Tip.it Forum Rules Adventurer's LogThanks to Cowboy14 for the awesome sig!
December 23, 201114 yr I found a good one called SpeedFan. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.
December 23, 201114 yr SpeedFan is bad and really outdated. It's the one I used for years before finding out about hwmonitor and coretemp, and let me say it is really inferior to the others, and didn't even give the right temperature readings on my newer computers.
December 23, 201114 yr And how do you know it gives you wrong temp readings? I have tried it and still use it, and it tells me correctly the temperature. Really? December 23, 201114 yr If it works for you, great, but when it gives you temperatures that are something like -0 and 131 Celsius, there is obviously something wrong with the readings.
