If I put 7.5M into my kingdom so that 75k is taken daily, do I only need to worry about getting my approval rating to 100% on the day I collect a couple months later (granted I just let it sit in there), or are the resources gathered each day dependent on your approval rating that day? I put 7.5M in several weeks ago and am down to 34% approval rating right now, and just planned on getting 100% the day I collect, is that fine?

resource points are calculated daily based on approval rating

Depends on the approval for that day, so for the first day you get 100% or a 1.0 multiplier for resources. The next 10 days will be 99-90% so a 0.9 multiplier and so forth until you hit zero. I'd recommend going back once a week or so to keep at least the 90%+ approval rating.

Armadyl Drops : 4 Hilts; 3 Chestplates; 2 Chainskirts; 1 Helmet; 1 Buckler; 2 Shard 1; 2 Shard 2; 1 Shard 3

Nex : 1 Zaryte Bow

Kalphite King : 1 Drygore Rapier ; 1 Drygore Longsword : 1 Drygore Offhand Rapier : 1 Drygore Offhand Longsword

I was told, and I'm pretty sure it's true, that you can get 100% approval just before collecting and it will get you full resources. But if I'm wrong, then I might have just wasted 7.5m or so by not increasing my rating.

I would like to get this confirmed as well. :P

Pretty damn sure it doesn't work like that. A calculator I saw on RuneHQ a while back had an option for getting favour daily vs not getting favour daily. Rs wiki says "Resources are gathered everyday at the time when you finished the Throne of Miscellania quest" which would imply, again, that it's calculated daily.

Your best bet is to look at a calculator that says what you should get and compare it to what you get. If there's a large discrepancy then you know you wasted some of that 7.5m =/

Personally, I update kingdom once a week...

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.

Buying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

Poignant Purple to Lokie's Ravishing Red and Alg's Brilliant Blue.

It is calculated daily.

Getting 100% resources just before collecting will NOT give you full yield.

I believe this misunderstading comes from the fact that you can change your chosen resource product(s) right before collecting. Meaning, if you had 5 workers on Coal and 10 on Maples for a few weeks, you can still change it to 10 Herbs and 5 Teaks right before, and get the full Herb/Herb Seed/Teak Log/Bird Nest rewards for that.

You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?

Alright. I went ahead and put my kingdom up to 7M again and brought my AR to 100% and I'll probably go there every couple of days. I wasted about 3 weeks with it going from 55% initially to 34%, but I doubt it will be that big of a deal in the end.

Trollbomber.png

As well covered it is taken daily, but you can go down to about 90% before it is a huge issue, hence most people collect weekly or fortnightly.

As other suggested the misunderstanding comes from the fact you can alter resources last minute and get whatever you pick.

The basic mechanic is:

Each day 10% of coffers up to 75k is given to the 'workers'

Then it looks at approval (say 90%)

As approval is 90%, the 'workers' will keep 10% for themselves.

So 7.5k is lost and 67.5k is stored as resources to be collected.

***

When you collect the game takes that stored figure divides it by 15 to allocate to each worker.

Then based on 'prices' that the resources have (most guides list the rough 'price' of each resource) 'buys' the resources workers are currently assigned to.

Everything above the stars is run daily, hence lowering your coffers and raising you're potential resources with approval factored in.

Everything below the stars runs only when you collect, hence swapping stuff around just before you collect changes what you get.

Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills ::  Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA Rewards

Dragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

It calculates per day.

Say each % is a 'work unit'

Over 10 days, you would have a potential of 1000 work units.

On day one, you get it to 100% before update. You get 100 work units.

For the next 8 days, you don't increase favour, so you get 99, 98, 97, 96, 95, 94, 93, 92 work units, for a total of 764 work units.

For the last day before you collect, you get it back to 100, giving you another 100 work units.

Thus at collection time, you would have 964 work units that gets converted into whatever resource split you have.

I wouldn't worry too much about getting full profit. The profit difference from not raising approval everyday and doing so is most likely minimal at best. I personally wait till it drops to 93% then raise it back to 100%.

Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.
