Something fun.

Is there something pointlessly fun to do? I used to just go clan warring, but I don't know how it works anymore. Where is it now anyways?

Can someone suggest something, I can't seem to think up any ideas. I would go FoG, but the game has little to no action, so it isn't that fun.

Pointlessly fun...hmm...

One thing people used to do (haven't heard about it as much recently) is the east-to-west run. Basically, you start at the far east part of Port Phasmatys and run to the far west part of the Tyras Docks (or the other way) in the least amount of time without any teleports or transportation. People use the ogre spa or the Spirit Terrorbird Tireless Run Scroll to keep their run energy up.

I don't really see this as an activity that will last you very long though. I'd personally say that if you aren't feeling like you're having fun playing the game, then take a few days break and see what happens.

I've never seen Sixth Sense nor Inception nor many other popular movies and I intend to keep it that way.

That just sounds pointless, lol. Fun fact, I spent about a year, a full year, just wandering aimlessly around Runescape. Not even doing anything.

Anyways, it isn't that I'm not having fun. I'm just not having really good fun because the botters are putting me in a bad mood. I actually want to play more, but really, it's only a matter of time - maybe even days - until school makes me just quit cold turkey on Runescape.

Something completely pointless is not fun, lol.

Clan wars & Fog are both located in a cave ---Gamers' Grotto--- north-east of Falador. It works exactly as before free trade,:

White Portal:FFA, items safe

Red Portal: FFA, Items dropped

Purple Portal,:Clan wars

If you are looking for some pointless fun in Runescape I would say that you should test out the many different minigames. You say that you don't like some of them, but with the many different kinds of minigames within this game, I am quite sure there is some of them you will enjoy. You might also want to try out a d and d or two. Or you can just walk around and socialize with other players. Who knows, you might find yourself some new friends :)

You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?

Castle Wars is probably the very definition of pointless fun in Runescape. biggrin.gif

@Ginziro - Thank you.

@Swedishboy5 - I never said I didn't like any minigames? Could you be specific. What is "try out a d and d or two"?

@Laikrob - I'm getting owned :(. I don't feel fun at all.

@Quyneax - Ok. I go try.

@x1strife - That sounds fun, but my stats suck.

@Will_H - Are you in cahoots with Laikrob?

Can someone recommend something specific.

Is Shades of Morton any useful? I remember I liked burning them. (I'm just looking at the minigames list)

Is the Circus any fun? Court cases? I quit before these came out.

I'm gonna go mine some Shooting Stars for now.

Try to see how fast you can get a solo med floor done in dungeoneering (f15ish is normally done for record floors I think). Your choice if you want to use ovl/prayer renewals.

Okay. You can use Overloads in Dg?

yep, just drink the ovl/prayer renewal directly before entering, and you'll get the benefits inside for the normal time they last for. Makes a massive difference, obviously.

Edit: What Hedge said as well.. it's fun and fulfilling in a weird way. :geek:

Well yah lol; its a marriage of math and runescape.. it's fun :P

And it's useful since I've learned a good bit more about excel & Google Docs.. that's always good for my degree, so it's a win-win.

How much more research do you need on dragon picks? I pmed you a 15 minute sample a few days back. Waiting on your response before I start a longer test.
