Gilformen
hi. i need buttloads of charms. preferably crims. i dont really want to barrage for them, im already 99 magic and its costly. slayer could be an option, but im already 85 and its boring. monster hunting, no. waterfiends are a pain, and i dont have access to decent crush weapons. is there a place i can camp greater demons perhaps? or basically a place i could camp something for long periods of time to collect decent charms. im 58 atm, got stuff for 75 or so banked, and im planning to eventually get 93. so yeah. craploads of charms. thoughts? 32,606th to 99 magic || 15,388th to 99 dungeoneering || 12,647th to 99 farming14,792nd to 99 range || 24,954th to 99 herblore
Ellac
You could cannon wallasalkis for charms. It's a bit cheaper than bursting I think. You've got a lot of things limiting your charm collecting. As much as I hate to suggest it, you can camp greater demons in the forinthry dungeon, or camp black demons in taverly dungeon, or abyssal demons in the slayer tower. You could also camp nechs for crimsons. Thanks to Iglw for the amazing signature!
JeRambo
I think black demons would be your best choice. With a cannon, full bandos and overloads I am getting around 150-175 crims/hr. They drop a great amount of effigies(for me anyway) as well. With extremes you can still get a decent amount. Bring a familiar to hold prayer pots and have urns in your invetory. "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come." "An imperfect man can do great deeds, and a great man imperfect ones. Ellac
GLACORS! theyre nuuuuuuts for charms :DOne of the things the OP forgot to mention was that they're 45 Def and plan on staying that level (at least for the time being.. feel free to correct me), so Glacors are a no-go. Dusk Souls
A Turmoil Zerker? .... if that is the case I think camping black demons in Taverly dungeons is the best option.
Quyneax
Could cannon greaters in the wilderness, faster than black demons charm-wise by a mile, not as many effigies though. And not cheap. Bad911
Err, on the unlikely chance you have access to the Legend's Guild, you could always come kill Shadow Warriors with me. Highly inefficient, but they do drop quite a bit of charms (Crimsons the most) and you don't need food there. There is also a bank right above the hunting spot. GM Dutch
Even while your slayer is allready 85 i recommend to go on with it. Its not only good for charms but you also make loads of money with it. rsn changed for a short period of time to: GM Dutch
