January 25, 201214 yr Taking an interest to raise my Magic level as its lagging behind my other combat stats, currently I have 88 Magic So I am choosing which of these 3 spells to train with (no SoA as I can't craft the runes yet) - Flames of Zamorak/Sara Strike/Claws of Guthix with Charge- Fire Bolts with Chaos gauntlets- Water Surge or Ancient spells As for gear I have: - Full Void armour with Mage Helmet(no Deflector)- Mystic Robes full set - God Cape - Mystic Air Staff/God Staff/Ancient Staff - Wizard Boots - Full Slayer Helmet- Ahrim's Hood Just need to know the best balance between accuracy and damage as I tend to miss a lot even on metal dragons
January 25, 201214 yr Use this.Look into getting an arcstream necklace from dung, as it's pretty amazing for magic. As for gear, void mage isn't that great. Working on max and completionist capes. 2435/2475
January 25, 201214 yr Have you decided what monster you're train on yet? Because ice burst would be a really quick way of levelling, however you are limited to skeletons under ape atoll and rock lobsters. Those with a little bit of knowledge are more dangerous than those with none.
January 25, 201214 yr Dump the mystic for Ahrim robes. Also try to get a Staff of Light to replace your current one as it's very cheap. Polypore is pretty accurate, has high damage, and super cost-effective, but it's very slow XP since there's no base damage. I'd stick with surging, though I'm not sure how accurate water surge is on metals. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement.Also check out my blug

January 25, 201214 yr Most Slayer monsters have low mage defence if you have a decent mage attack. I would just go with Water Surge for the best xp/h.
January 25, 201214 yr I'd unlock Storm of Armadyl asap, the magic xp is higher than that of fire surge and it's also cheaper per xp, plus you get more charms/effigies/loot per hour (and slayer xp if you choose to slay, which is a good idea imo).
