vleademir Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 I'm going to mage the caves and I know i'm using gano for the make soak, and I have a vecna skull and arcane stream, but is pps good there? I am working on the reqs for rotm but I want to get the cape now before the rework just incase anything gets nerfed. Also, what is the strat? I've done a few times before and died on jad but that was a few years ago. What to pray on which monster etc? PPS should be fine for Jad, you'll just have to take out a few healers before you can out-damage them, use leech magic/Augury on jad for additional accuracy Blog of DG, Bossing (mostly Glacors) and stuff - Runetrack Play Safe! - Got useful information for the tip.it website? Strategy is pray mystic might on 360s/Jad, protect range on 90s, protect mage on 360s, protect range on Jad (pray switch if possible). Octarine Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 One additional thing, remember in ganodermic your big weak point is your ranged defence, so make sure to take out the Tok-Xil as quickly as possible.For Jad its possible to tank the mage hits with Protect from Ranged on, or switch prayers, its really your decision. Probably depends on how many brews/restores you have left by that point since despite the high magic defence/soak of ganodermic, you will still take some occasional damage. VonMedo Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 this is setup I used when I had jad on task,but instead vecna skull take mage potions and bring some spec weapon(I forgot -.-),I maged whole way,didn't use rapier at all,used about 800 runes,whole caves were a piece of cake on jad just pray range and that's it Mamiću odlazi!
