February 19, 201214 yr I use my avatar here in Skype, and I was asked a couple of days ago if that was a real picture of me. I wonder what would have happened if I said yes?Y-You mean that you aren't that classy in real life? He's still classier than most people in real life anyway.
February 19, 201214 yr Author As for the cape, kinda sucks. I was going to attempt it, but computer was laggy on my end and I didn't have my food fix. Terrible is that I don't have a fire cape yet. There is the chance you could pull some gambit and try to use your current fire cape as sacrifice material, but that's silly. I've been tempted a few times now, but it's not worth it. I use my fire cape for Slayer tasks, amongst other things. I will keep fighting the good fight tomorrow. I use my avatar here in Skype, and I was asked a couple of days ago if that was a real picture of me. I wonder what would have happened if I said yes?Y-You mean that you aren't that classy in real life? I-I mean, uh, w-what would have happened if I stopped the ambiguity and revealed the truth that that picture is indeed of me. Yes. That's it. I use my avatar here in Skype, and I was asked a couple of days ago if that was a real picture of me. February 19, 201214 yr Author Woah, page 50 out of nowhere. Tried maging the caves Will? PPS to 360's, SoA from there on... It's very good apparently, specially with new spawn. Hmm, so far I've been rapiering everything, with a chaotic crossbow as a backup and for jad. I very rarely get melee'd by the Ket-Zeks, none of the first 62 waves really pose a problem. I'm going to try luring those healers behind Italy Rock and dispatching them separately before I get into more drastic and expensive methods like SoA. ~ W ~

Whilst you say SoA is drastically expensive I do agree, but doing something like Frosts you get your money back almost instantly. Earlier on today I lent Draz a bit of my gear (inc ABS and 999 Arma runes - only had 1k in bank and I liked where they were sat in there ;) ). Think he said it took him like 500 casts to do the 360's -> Jad. Personally took me 550, but I failed on Jad as he kept getting lucky with constant mage hits and then when I switched prayers he GF'd me with a 769. If you wanted to borrow ABS you're more than welcome Will :) Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total. Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D

If you wanted to borrow ABS you're more than welcome Will :) Hrm. Let's say that I take up your offer regarding the ABS (thanks, by the way ), wore Void Mage (with barrows gloves and deflector), arcane steam, used Mystic Might (Augury would be too much of a drain, I think), and a Vecna Skull, could I simply outpower the healing capacities of the Yt-HurKots? I'd just use rapier and crossbow for the rest of the waves, because that works well for me. And the prospect of tribriding sounds fun. ~ W ~
February 20, 201214 yr I would really recommend using Gano over void for fight caves. Void simply doesn't have the defence there to be worth it. Thanks to Iglw for the amazing signature!
February 20, 201214 yr Author Eh, I know I'd be fine if I didn't have to multi-task on Jad, after all my first fire cape was just me standing there and prayer switching back when the deflection trick worked, and that was a long time. Defence doesn't come into the equation if I can just focus on prayers. ~ W ~
February 20, 201214 yr I meant for the waves previous to Jad. The combination of rangers, melee-ers and mages really does a good amount of damage in void. Thanks to Iglw for the amazing signature!
February 20, 201214 yr I meant for the waves previous to Jad. The combination of rangers, melee-ers and mages really does a good amount of damage in void. Add that the Ganodermic can help if you miss the magic prayer and Jad attacks, which turns his potential game-ending attack into something that does 400 or so damage. Strange many people forget of Gano's melee defenses too, which makes it more awesome. I think I only relied on my EEE (with a bit of soul split) during my two (well, three) cave attempts thanks to it. Makes me want to go bother with getting fire cape even more despite how I don't really intend to use it a whole lot.
February 20, 201214 yr Author I meant for the waves previous to Jad. The combination of rangers, melee-ers and mages really does a good amount of damage in void. Oh, I see. By now, I've become pretty adept at trapping the meleers, and the rapier dispatches those rangers in 2 or 3 hits most of the time, so the damage I receive is pretty small. I wouldn't use it otherwise without a rapier. Those pre-Jad waves aren't a problem for me, and I've always had plenty of food left over, so I use it to get those waves over in the fastest way I can. I'll give it some thought. I'd still like to try SoA with Void Mage first though, if only to test a theory. ~ W ~

Wearing the whole Gano set has over 50% magic soak, which is nice and hefty before you start adding other items. I would love to own an EEK since I heard it shines with the set. Alas, I need to dung more often and I am months out of date with the info on new methods and such.
February 20, 201214 yr I would really recommend using Gano over void for fight caves. Void simply doesn't have the defence there to be worth it.I also don't think it provides enough of an accuracy boost to be better than regular robes, and unless they changed it there's no damage boost at all. Could be wrong, though.I mean, people use melee/ranged void because your offense stats are almost entirely in your weapons and shield (Less so for ranged), but for magic, most of your stats are in your robes. Again, could be wrong, I'm not particularly efficient or up to date on these things I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr
February 20, 201214 yr VOID BAD GANO GUD The chameleon has spoken, everyone.This. Void mage will get you ripped apart if you mess up your prayers, and the healers will probably deal a lot of damage tov you also. That and Gano has more offense than void. Yes, I'm up at 5:30am, dat flu. ^^My blog of EoC PvM, lols and Therapy.^^My livestream- Currently: Offline :(Offical Harpy Therapist of the Mad[hide=Lewtations]Barrows drops: Dharok's helm x2, Guthan's helm, Ahrim's top, Hood and skirt, Torag's hammers, Karils skirt, Karil's top, Torag's helm, Verac's skirt, Verac's Flail, Dharok's Platebody.Dag kings drops: Lost count! :wall:4k+ Glacors, 7 Ragefires, 4 Steadfasts, 4 Glaivens, 400+ shards![/hide]
