Arctic Pines vs Teaks?

Recommended Posts

I have full Lumberjack, Juju woodcutting flasks, strong woodcutting urns, beavers and an infernal adze.

I just want to know which of these two methods is best overall, mostly in terms of XP. If they're close I'll probably go with Teaks as they are more profitable and have the bonus logs too.

I've not been able to find a proper answer anywhere and hoping that someone has any good advice here. :)

EDIT: Sorry if it was already posted, I only just remembered the search function after posting this.

Artic pines would be faster with a dragon hatchet, I'm not sure how much burning logs affects the XP there (with adze). If it majorly affects xp/h, Juju woodcutting potions would do the same thing, reducing it further. By that point, teaks would probably be better since you don't lose xp when you bank them with the potions or burn them, since you just drop them compared to splitting like arctic pines.

I haven't researched this and haven't cut either for months so you might want to wait until somebody who knows their stuff posts

I got my information from this about Arctic Pines:

I'm not alching logs however and just spam dropping as many as I can between logs when needed. I've just been doing arctic pines to 99 (got the level now) but not sure whether teaks are better or not because I hear little other than cutting ivy regarding woodcutting.

Artic Pines are better xp/hour, if you want only wc xp you should use dragon hatchet, if you also want firemaking xp you should use adze as that gives just a little more xp if I am right (though you most likely won't see the difference)

Teaks are better if you want money from it or want to burn your logs yourself, the best place for teaks would be on ape atoll (where there is also an deposit box if you did the quest for it). Also teaks are more relaxing then pines.
