Which was Fall 2010. This is now killing me, but I want to go after Nomad again. Are there any new items that could really help me out?

STR 88

DEF 82

HP 85

PRY 71

RNG 75

MAG 79

There are a few items such as brew flasks that would help...

But you can easily do it with sharks. Just bring a terrordbird full of sharks and also a spirit kyatt pouch and about 100 ambush scrolls. When you eat 12 food, take from BoB, dismiss the bird and summon the kyatt. Then spam his ambush scroll, while fighting like normal, until nomad is dead. Simple as that.

Just use your best melee gear with black dhide armour.

If you get your Defence and Magic levels to 85, then you can use Ganodermic armour, which makes Nomad a joke!

You can melee or range, depends on your preference, though since you don't have soul split (requires 92 prayer) I would say range him.

I don't think Ruby bolts (e) hit that high on him, sadly, so you may have to use either diamond bolts (e) or broad bolts.

For a familiar, bring a BOB with 2:1 ratio of saradomin brews to super restore pots.

Also bring a Spirit kyatt pouch in your inventory, along with around 50 of it's scrolls in your inventory. It's scroll effect allows it to hit Nomad hard and fast while he's in his Berserker stage.

What are brew flasks?

Potion flaks, simply a 6-dose version of vials, giving you a 50% increae in healing capabilities.

They cost a fair amount though, so make sure you know what you're doing before you use them!

Also, try to get 85 defense and magic for Ganodermic, helps SO much!

As for money pouch, you use it to hold all your coins, and they are not dropped on death (same for wildy, but youcan't ADD coins to the pouch while in the wildy. AND saves you an inventory space. ;)

I want to renew my membership but we will see how I feel when I am sober

That's wise.

The new magic armour 'ganodermic' (poncho, leggings, visor) has about twice the magic defence of the previous best item (that doesn't have a melee penalty) and also great melee defence to boot, so at 85 defence and magic you'll be able to tank Nomad. With brew flasks you can carry 1.5x the healing you previously could but that should be overkill. I would recommend melee since ganodermic isn't very good ranged gear, and ranged is overall weaker than melee.
