March 15, 201214 yr I have never before really painted anything, I use lot of pencils but never a brush. well as I currently have so much free time on my hand, I decide to give this a go and expand my skills :)Wola my first water painting, err not so good but wth, i might learn how to, eventually? :P ohh and i need allot of colors.. March 15, 201214 yr I like where you're going so far. Have you tried various tactics like wet-on-wet and the use of salt and dabbing with a paper towel for extra texture? I hope you plan to work on this further because it has some potential to be a nice piece.
March 15, 201214 yr Look up some water color paintings and try to copy them. you'll learn more about how to paint a certain way and feel more comfortable just by copying other artists works.

March 28, 201214 yr Great first effort. natural ability shows I'd suggest using more colors once you acquire them - like adding blues into shadows, greens into the water, and bits of hue to make monochromatic colors more appealing. I like it :thumbup:
