A_Gardener
I want to get my Crafting to 89 (85 atm) to make flasks - I know I can boost from 86 but I'd rather get the level and not have to worry. I have nearly 1k sandstone banked :) What would be the best way of doing so? I don't have a set budget, per se; methods that would cost over about 15M are probably too expensive however. Secondly, I want to mine at the LRC. What's a good inventory setup for banking gold? Is it too laggy on the official worlds, or will I not be safe if I chose to do it on a random world? Is it worth bringing the mining outfit (given how much it weighs)? Thanks :) Gardening for Victory!
J35u5_M4
If you have the mining outfit, bring it. As far as outfit for LRC goes...Full golden mining (Varrock armor instead of top, so you get a bit more def)Dragon PickaxePenance horn (If you've got)Juju mining potionsLava titan You can choose yak instead of titan if you want more afkness, at the cost of XP gain. As far as craft goes, have you been buying your daily battlestaves? They give good crafting XP on the long run, if not, well you can try being cheap and doing gold jewelry using the ore you get from LRC (You can mine the ore, smelt it, and craft it, three birds with one stone), or go ahead with dragonhides using SC needles if you want to save some cash
Troacctid
Note that you don't need the crafting level to make the sandstone into robust glass. You should be glassmaking it on your way to the bank to save time. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP
A_Gardener
Thank you very much - any ideas on how many juju mining potions/urns to take per familiar pouch? And I hadn't realised about the robust glass, all done now! Gardening for Victory!
Lord Paul
Using a lava titan, I take 12 doses of juju potion, dragon pick, eee (not really necessary), nature runes, and urns to fill the rest of the inventory, leaving 2-3 free spots. Wield staff for fire runes. Usually run out of urns at about 50 minutes. Your call if you want to use the rest of the juju potions, or bank for more urns. Working on max and completionist capes. 2435/2475

Is this advised over banking? I quite liked the sound of the AFK exp, but I guess superheating is hardly very attention/click-intensive. Gardening for Victory! Lord Paul
I'm already 99 smith, so I low alch/high alch depending on how full my inventory is. Even with juju, it's not very afk. Superheating is more click intensive than alching since you'll probably be dropping the bars. Still, it's not hard to watch a movie while doing it. Only thing that keeps me sane while mining.... Quyneax
Superheating 'properly' requires you to:Have magic tab openClick superheat spell(opens inventory)Click ore Right-click resulting bar(switches back to magic interface)Drop bar That's pretty click-intensive and step 4 has to happen quickly.
