Glacors equipment

Got 70m bank. Currently using ganodermic but i don't think i actually need the defense from it, and the repair cost adds up.

Curious how effective full akrisae is, including the staff! (Potentially infinite prayer worth -5% damage surely?) or just ahrims with arkisae hood.

I could get virtius legs or mask which would help uni healing, but i don't think the small bonus is really worth it at the moment. (And indeed i don't currently need the extra healing)

Edit: Heres my exact setup: c30c2518298b79f4814c5f24654a3961.png?1334863263

Also I'm currently fire surging glacors with deflect magic/range and leech magic and defense. I switch to rapier and defender, turmoil and deflect melee, and turn off autocast for the minions. I kill Enduring > Sapping > Unstable. I use EEE spec and unicorn to survive, also soulsplit the glacors when convenient to do so.

Anything you'd recommend doing differently here?

With a unicorn you really shouldn't need gano defence-wise so you're right there.

I'd not pray melee on the minions (ss flash + protect against the glacor) using either void or Virtus. Akrisae isn't worth it imo, you lose like 40-50 magic attack for the set? Magic attack isn't that important but neither is prayer cost.

Goliaths are one thing probably overkill, you could upgrade to csb + berserker ring, and ragefire boots. Ahrim's skirt has 1 more mage attack than gano. I'd use neit/Akrisae hood for the prayer bonus as well.

Firstly you should try get a surge box.

I usually do pretty well with Neit helm, ahrim top and verac plateskirt and have you also considered killing the minions in this order; Sapping > Enduring > Unstable

Those with a little bit of knowledge are more dangerous than those with none.

I have a lot of dung items i want and surgebox doesn't take priority over any of them :P

After i get them I'll probably get it for the sake of having it though, assuming I'm not sick of glacors by then.

That's what i decided to do, gear wise. Despite having the cash handy, i can't bring myself to buy ragefire boots. +1 mage attack just isn't worth it.

By the way i lure the minions behind rocks where the glacor can't see them, the whole process of luring and switching to melee takes about 5 seconds, which is why i deflect melee. This works for me for now but i guess i can try straight up tanking everything while protecting from the glacor to increase kill speed slightly.

Sapping before Enduring... Derp... Why didn't i think of that?

I prefer to kill enduring first, so accidnetly killing the unstable doesn't wreck the kill speed, but that gear image doesn't work for me. Hitting the unstable for a turm boost is always good, and don't bother leeching defense, as it only effects you when non-pps maging (unless it got fixed)

Edit: Image suddenly worked, ue ardy cloak, and have kiln cape as a switchideally, nezzy helm could also be used over ahrims hood, really up to you though, rest is fine.

So I've been doing a lot of FoG lately. (I seriously have no idea why) and have 500 tokens...

Would battle robes be worth using at glacors? I figure it would save half my (expensive) rune costs, i don't think i need the defense/prayer of better armour, and i already have the tokens.

I guess it's the most efficient way to spend your tokens if you've got some anyway. The only thing possibly more efficient would be barraging (much higher rune cost) but I don't think barraging can be really efficient with the charm rates glacors have.
