Well i was wondering if someone could post a little about old bugs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I know of 1 when the abyss came out magers could attack people in there

Knife bug

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You were able to wear knives with a bug in rsc. These boosted your weapon aim and power, so people abused it and hit 30s with relatively low str. Needless to say how dangerous it was in pkin.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The most famous people banned for this were Angel2002 (later I Wicked I) and Grubyyyy (forgot how many y's).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Killable bankers

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

With one cheating program (don't know if it's legal to say names here, so I'll just call it with that name) you were able to kill bankers. This didn't work with a normal Runescape client, so it wasn't widely abused. I believe it was fixed pretty fast.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bearded ladies

 

 

 

When the mage who was able to change your looks, gender and clothes came, there was a little bug. If you changed into a female, wore a girl-plate and changed back to a man you were able to wear a girl plate while being a man.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your character was a normal man character (man's body) and when you took away that body you couldn't wear it again. Later with a simple editor it was possible to create bearded ladies who actually had a woman body.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

^In this pic Bluerose uses the glitch, not a bad program. This glitch was widely used among players (even I used it) and no1 got banned because of it. Probably every high lvl character at those days at least tested it.

thats not old :\

their was a post some months ago containin all the older bugs, like 1 yew tree im lumby became an ent and if you stepped to the north side of it youd get stuck and couldnt get out til you teled or it turned back into an ent.

Only one I have a picture of is the Lumby tower bug. I went up the ladder diagonally and ended outside the tower. I could move around over quite a distance although there was a limit to how far I could go:

There was also the Guthix Rest Tea bug, where it would heal all of your health when you drank it. I think a few people were banned for abusing that.

I have a ton of beta bugs but the only bug I have a picture of in rsc was that god spell that would stick in one place and wouldn't leave.

 

 

 

i remember the mossey wall bug, i wanted 2 go through, but andrew stoped me :cry: , and back then i didnt know how 2 take a screeny :oops:

i rember that wall (it was the one in sewers rite?)

rs had so many bugs like one were u clicked on rat walked thru fence and clicked on mugger walked out of it.
