Unlocks magic secateurs, which give a 10% yield boost on herbs, hops and allotment.

You get farming xp. You also get magic secateurs. They increase the minimum and maximum harvest of selected crops, most importantly herbs. With the secateurs equipped + supercompost you'll harvest at least 5 herbs, as opposed to at least 3 without them.

You get the reward magic secateurs which can increase allotments, herbs, and hops yields by 10%. it's worth using.

can we not throw around 10% without data? I don't think I've seen anything to suggest it's a 10% average increase (and I doubt it is, considering it raises the minimum by more then 10%...)

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.

It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

That is the number OP would've found had he done the googling, and pops up consistently when doing so. If you know of a data set that will help give better numbers, feel free to help out?

I google'd it a bit, according to runewiki the 10% comes from a jmod post from 2006. Given jagex's track record with percent bonuses (void range, slayer helm), it's probably pretty safe to assume it's not accurate. I'm interested enough to take a potential hit to my herb run profits...I'll drop the secateurs for a few 100 seeds.

Keep track of the distribution of the herbs.

 

Like 5 herbs from patch 1, 7 from patch 2, 6 from patch 3, etc. Don't count double herbs from juju/gf.

yeah. There's nothing to suggest HH patches have different yields, correct?
