mlskid
Okay, so my stats are below. I have unlocked the dagannoth sentinnels and I want to train my strength and defence to level 98-99 asap. I want to know if it would be more beneficial to use curses for the sap and leech prayers rather than using piety. Xp-wise which one is better? I imagine piety is better even if I have no means of lowering their defence, but i just want to doublecheck before I go and do any hardcore training on them. If it makes much of a difference i am using void w deflector and barrows gloves, d boots and sw cape. Leik
You could get BGS for its Defence lowering special, and it's cheap too. And piety is obviously better. Also get a familiar that trains the same skill you're training. LIVERPOOL WILL WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE THIS SEASON. Hedgehog
Piety is a massive boost to your dps, whereas curses boost your dps by like 1% max and don't give xp.When you bgs spec, make sure you switch to void gloves so you can maintain the void boost.Use a berserker ring, fury, and extremes too.Id heavily recommend training melees through slayer, though. AHappySeeker
Id heavily recommend training melees through slayer, though. This. Sents are hugely wasteful for anyone who doesn't specifically need a level target (prom 2h, prim baxe etc).

Don't leech curses max out at +15% and -25%? Sure, 15% strength is quite a bit lower than 23%, but how could that only translate to 1% dps increase? But I'd imagine the -25% defence leech would be wasted because you're probably going to BGS them to 0 defence anyway. Vezon Dash
As everyone has already said, you should be using the BGS spec and piety.
Riptide Mage
I've been at dag sents the last week or two using this inventory which lasts 90 minutes: You make it sound like running through a few level 87 monsters is hard which it really shouldn't be at your level.
