Ok, so I was planning to get back to dungeoneering. I was lucky enough to get hex (if you're more interested about how, read my blog) because of a friendly stranger, so I would also like to get sagittarian arrows. I bound gorgonite arrows just to get using it fast, but it feels stupid to have hex, yet no proper arrows.

 

Which floor and with what settings should I be hunting sagittarian arrows? Apparently I can't solo them, can I? Anyways, if someone would be kind enough to help me with them, that would be a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Thanks :)

 

EDIT: I got 99 herblore so I can do strongest weapon poison myself. Just need people to hunt them with me.

EDIT2: I assume anyone with +45 dungeoneering can help with this?

Floor 23 on c6 with 5:5

 

You can go to mostly any of the themed worlds and advertise arrow hunt to get 5 people. I've found w67 worked the best for my hunts.

 

Some people also do c1, but I've found that is more of a hassle and takes longer to finally get t11, even though floors are faster.

Would probably take you ages to find and finish a large F23 since not many people do that low of a floor :razz:

In my experience doing C1s for primal stuff is a lot faster than C6 larges. Assuming this is the same, Just get 5:5 C1 the others can leave when you start.

just go on any world and get a full team for anything floor you feel like lying about

then change the settings to floor 23 small c6 5:5 and enter and pretend you messed up and wait for everyone to quit

then finish the dungeon and kill the boss and hopefully you get the arrow drop

But to go further I was under the impression it is best to c1 hunt the arrows just to get them THEN weave in doing c6 5:5 on w/e floor it is into your normal runs/as and when you cba to do arrow hunts to get them for poisoning.

However one wonders if hunting them to poison bind is even worth it seeing as in EoC due in Sept poisoned weps are going byebye in favour of drinking poison to be able to inflicting poison for a limited period (Cause you know drinking poison is a MUCH more logical way to poison an enemy compared to having poison on an blad/point)

You are drinking a magical potion that gives weapon poison for a short period of time. Logic no longer applies since its MAGIC! Lol.

Won't this take forever considering the chances of getting right boss and even when getting one, getting the right drop? :( Is there any way to do it faster aside doing c1's or asking people to do the floors with you. Wouldn't soloing a 5:5 floor, even small, take quite some time if doing continuously over and over again? Oh well..

If you're doing c6 smalls then putting guide mode on will help.

Homer is right as well, guide mode makes it much easier.

 

Depending on the world you're doing this in, if you are advertising an actual hunt, the majority of players will stay and help. So it's not really completely solo.

Thank you all who helped and offered to help inside dungeon aswell. I tried to host arrow hunt, but couldn't find people so just decided to buy from a person selling floors. Paid 1,5m for them, but got them really fast with fast dungeoneers to help me. 1,5m doesn't sound too bad. After all I now have hex with best ammunition and poisoned aswell. Something I don't have to worry about. Now all I need is 100dg and 99 melees for primal weapon and primal plate.

 

What would you guys suggest for my binds in the future. When I hit 100 dg should I bind ssh (assuming I get chance) or primal platebody? And should I get primal axe or primal 2h for melee weapon?

 

Here's my arrows though.

Primal 2h > Primal battle axe > Prom 2h

Primal plate > hood
