hard target
someone tryed to change my pin today so i changed my password and recovery questions. is there more i can do to protect my acount? any theories on how someone got my password? fyi i clicked a phishing email a week ago before i knew about the scam BUT i DIDN'T put in my password when it asked, could it still have installed a keyloger/other virus? its kind of funny, i was thinking about deleting my pin the other day...ill never consider that again since it saved my bank. + alerted me to attempted hack
ShadyAntics
I'd recommend doing a scan just to make sure, apparently with Gmail, you can ask for confirmation via text/call for added security. If the scan does turn up anything dodgy, then obviously change your password and recovery questions again.
Sy_Accursed
You should do a spyware/virus scan to find any issues and THEN change you password.Changing the password before scanning would mean any potential keylogger already has the new password. Having clicked a scam email phishing link there is a high chance you have a keylogger. Th e Doctor
McAfee should be fine. Also run spybot search and destroy and spyware blaster (both are free programs). Malwarebytes is also a decent one to use. Riptide Mage
McAfee should be fine. Also run spybot search and destroy and spyware blaster (both are free programs). Malwarebytes is also a decent one to use. McAfee is one of the worst anti-viruses you could possibly run; its detection rate is miserable and it does not update frequently enough. The only reason it is so widely used is it's advertizing. Kaspersky, Nod32, and MBAM are the only three worth paying for. 1 You make it sound like running through a few level 87 monsters is hard which it really shouldn't be at your level. Grim Wrath
Do a full scan in safemode with MBAM. And Comodo is a great AV/FW if you know how to work your way around computers, otherwise I'd use Avast, as it is free and works well. ||

Mylez
Malbytes Anti-Malware should solve any issues you have here. As far as further protection goes, there's various things you can use such as KeyScrambler. This will prevent ANY keylogger working on your laptop. Remember to change your password regularly, and your recoveries relatively frequently. All the best!
